Tigger or "Tigs"

Tigger was my loving, trusting, huge male tiger cat who came to me as a wild juvenile whose sister could no longer hunt for him. You see, Tigs could not figure out how to hunt mice so his devoted sister would hunt for them both. he lived with me for 10 years. He slept with me and recognized only me as someone to trust. He has just recently passed from Feline AIDS. As best can be determined he was born with this disease which did not become active until this last January. He was peacefully aided to sleep on May 4th. The night before we had a long talk and shared the love and caring that had been between us for those years. Though more gone than with us, he jumped one last time to lay with me all night and gaze into my eyes. I miss his devotion and comfort so much. Tears are falling as I type this. Tigs was by big beautiful boy, a black and grey tiger that weighed almost 18 pounds before his illness. My life has been so blessed to have had his devotion.
